Leaving Fort Collins was a long anticipated goal of mine, and up until the very last week there, I had trouble visualizing the actual reality of leaving. Now I am filling up a new area of space in St. Louis, just off the Lemay Ferry Road. The air is wonderfully moist and warm, an environmental condition that brings a sticky unhappiness to a lot of the people that are familiar with it, but is a relief to my high desert skin. I am staying with my sister and her husband, and with a stroke of good timing, my parents are also here. It's wonderful. We tour around this flooded area finding random things to entertain ourselves with.. mostly just laugh at one another. The following is a pictorial of my first week in St. Louis.
Odell's Brewing Company just hosted their second annual Small Batch Brewing Festival in Fort Collins, Colorado... note the amazing bike parking lot! That is something that I am really going to miss!!
Fort Collins has started having weekly bicycle races at the CSU oval. We knew it was only a matter of time before this began due to the fact that Fort Collins is part bicycles, part beer and part sunny-outside-family fun!
I'm a friendly, enthusiastic person with an eye for color. I love my dog, my family, my friends, the mountains and the ocean. I call Wyoming home, love the smell of horses and the taste of red wine. I look forward to the future.
