Nancy's bf Dave has been kind enough to let me spend a few days at his apartment in Bed/Stuy until I can move into my own place in downtown Brooklyn. The space is in an old knitting factory and has a very neat, industrial feel to it. My area is made up of a red velvet couch bed, a wonderful old door, and a carved mirror. The pictures below are of said area, it's view and Dingo and his new friend Lyle!

Viva La East Coast!
These last few days have consisted of a long, arduous journey from St. Louis to Brooklyn in my truck ..with Dingo as company. The vastness of the area is settling in around me and I don't think I have experienced this much of a culture shock since I hitch-hiked into San Francisco for the first time. After a brief exploration of the local neighborhood park with Dingo I have confined myself to my friends apartment to contemplate the massive goings on around me and try to resettle my off balanced self. The drive out here was a long and beautiful one, but one word of advice, don't end two days of driving on the New Jersey Turnpike if you want to keep your composure. Love to all, enjoy these photos of my Brooklyn landing.

Brick Housing, St. Louis style
These were taken outside Matt and Maegan's new house. I love what they did with their front door, the green really adds a welcome touch and comfortable contrast to the red brick! It's beautiful, this area of old brick housing notching its way up widing hills and rolling streets. Saint Louis has a plentiful array of inspiring architecture and winding roads to drive for days! The month that I have spent in this city has given me a much greater appreciation of the area, and due to the moisture in the air, the color saturation and vegetation lends its self beautifully to the camera.

The Family cheese.
My sister and I just returned from a whirlwind trip to Wisconsin full of family visits and quality time. We stayed with my grandfather who inducted us into his favorite sport by passing down his golf clubs, and laughed with my parents until we were all tearing up. Here are some prime moments of this week long adventure. Enjoy.
