It's really extraordinary, the amount of time that I spend walking to trains, waiting for them to arrive and then riding them. This is one of many subway platform views that I see on a regular basis (read: everyday), and although I am a big fan of public transportation ...and really do like the above ground platform more than the below ground one, I am really looking forward to sitting behind the wheel of a car!!

I know the joys of the NYC transit system intimately. I went to law school in Tribeca and took the 2-3 to Chambers every day. I took the LIRR into Penn from Nassau CO., then the red line downtown. PUKE. A word to the wise....avoid Penn and the 2-3 at rush hour...its a living nightmare. Oh...and avoid NJ transit altogether...it is WAY WORSE than the MTA.
